West Blatchington Windmill proved to be a most interesting summer visit.

We were taken on a guided tour by Peter Hill, a long serving and very knowledgable and enthusiatic volunteer. Not everyone could make it to the top, but those who did learnt a lot about the workings of this and other Sussex mills and enjoyed fine views. There is an excellent museum on the ground floor and Peter's wife kindly provided us with refreshments to round off a very enjoyable evening.  

A visit to the mill is thoroughly recommended.
